Senator Jack Harper had sent an email to someone on a yahoo group that the appropriations budget meeting has been "called off" I'm assuming it was cancelled, no word on when or if there will be another meeting anytime soon.
I think it would make sense for them to wait to see what the rulings on the current lawsuits are before they try to figure out the budget, otherwise they would probably be forced to have another meeting to revise it.
But then again, when does it ever make sense?
Has anyone heard about the hearing for the appeal of the preliminary injuctiontion against the cuts in services? I thought it was to be last Thursday, April 23?
